Experience the Taste of Indian Desserts – Recipe for Ras Malai

Indian sweets and desserts are well known all over the world and they are very tempting and delicious. The following is an easy recipe for this appetizing and delicious Indian dessert:

Ingredients:

– Ricotta cheese: 2 pounds
– Sugar: ½ cup
– Half milk: 32 oz
– A pinch of saffron
– Crushed cardamom seeds: ¼ teaspoon
– Blanched almonds: ½ teaspoon
– Crushed green pistachios: 2 teaspoons

o Mix the cheese with the sugar with a little cardamom powder, and spread the mixture on a baking tray.

o Bake the mixture at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until set. However, make sure it doesn’t turn brown.

o Remove pan from oven, cool to room temperature, then cut prepared batter into small 2″ squares.

o Place these squares on a dessert plate.

o Mix the other ingredients well, peeling the pistachios, in a separate plate, and pour this liquid over the squares.

o Dessert is ready. Garnish with pistachios, chill for 2-3 hours before serving.
