3 Amazing Grilled Breakfast Sandwiches to Start Your Day Right

Who says you can’t cook breakfast food using a grill? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and if you’re enjoying a tasty meal fresh off the grill, you’re sure to have a good day ahead! Give it a try on the weekends – get out your grill and have breakfast with your family on the patio!

Try any of these 3 easy grilled breakfast sandwiches:

Grilled Bacon Cheese Egg Sandwich

What do you need:

  • 1 egg
  • 2 slices of Canadian bacon
  • 2 slices of American cheese
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • salt and pepper

In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter and cook the egg sunny side up until the yolk is cooked through. Season with salt and pepper then set aside. Cook the bacon in the same skillet if desired. Place 1 slice of cheese on top of one slice of bread, followed by the boiled egg, slices of bacon, and the remaining slice of cheese. Cover with the remaining slice of bread. Brush the outside of each slice of bread with the remaining butter and cook on a preheated grill over medium-low heat until the cheese has melted and the bread is golden brown.

Breakfast sandwich with egg and mayonnaise

What do you need:

  • 4 slices of bread of your choice
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 teaspoons of mayonnaise
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

In a small pot, boil the eggs. Allow to cool completely before removing the shell. Place the hard-boiled eggs in a bowl and mash them with a fork. Add the mayonnaise to the bowl and mix until the ingredients are well combined.

Butter a piece of bread and add half of the egg-mayonnaise mixture. Butter another slice and place on top of the prepared bread to make a sandwich. Repeat with the rest of the ingredients. Brush a skillet with butter and place the sandwiches on it. Cook on a preheated grill over medium-low heat for 4-5 minutes.

Grilled Cheese Pancake Sandwich

What do you need:

  • 5 pieces of freshly cooked pancakes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • black pepper
  • Maple syrup, to serve

Spread a pancake with 1/2 tablespoon mayonnaise, then sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup mozzarella, and 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese. Season with a pinch of pepper and top with another pancake. Repeat with the remaining ingredients until you have a 4-layer cheese pancake sandwich.

Place them on a rack and cook until the cheeses have melted, about 2 to 3 minutes.
