Digital signage for hotels

Hotels are increasingly looking for new and innovative ways to market their hotel and the services offered in the hotel, from spa to beauty treatments, are now investing in digital signage to increase the sale of their services.

How many times have you been to a hotel and found all the information you need about the surroundings and what to do during your stay? I for one have rarely come across this which is why once we find a good standard hotel we like we keep coming back as it’s the unique touches that make every stay memorable.

We once stayed at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Jersey City, when we checked in we were told that there was a wedding above our room and we suggested to change rooms at no additional cost, we agreed and which room – it had a 180 degree view of the New Jersey skyline. York, we have been back three times on business and now they ask us if we want the same room, we always say yes!

Hotels are now implementing a range of digital menu boards and digital signs to sell to new and returning guests. These innovative hotel chains are moving with technology and using high-definition images and video of their hotel and surrounding attractions, providing visitors and casual visitors with additional information, making the hotel the perfect choice.

The use of digital signage in high street hotels such as Morecambe and Bridlington can inform potential guests about room décor and the potential quality of accommodation, especially where hotels have restaurants as menu items are more profitable images can be sold to visitors with luscious images. and this could help fill both the restaurant and the hotel and will distinguish forward thinking hotels from hotels stuck in the mud who don’t believe in investing, this could also reflect on the quality of the hotel.

Then a larger digital solution (digital menu board) could greet guests in the reception area, here the hotel images reinforce the quality of the establishment with the guests. These dynamic menu boards start at 40″ and go to a massive 72″ screen compared to the digital poster which starts at 17″ and goes all the way to 40″.

Both have an internal media player, so setup costs are next to nothing, you just need to create the content and you’re ready to launch your digital signage campaign.
