Hey, how are you doing with future music producers and rap artists/singers?
I’m here and I’m going to share a typical day at work for me as a music producer. Now, before we begin, I want you to envision a dream life that you want to eventually live, then meditate as your imagination runs wild.
Well, first of all I have a family, a lovely wife and three children who are full of energy. Of course, my priorities don’t stop there, so I usually wake up in the house first, go downstairs and sit in my chair. I meditate for twenty minutes and then start my day. I’m a smoker, so of course I’ll have a cigarette and then I’ll get myself something to eat. Usually 7:00 am to 9:00 am is free time for me, so after a cold meal I check emails and spend about twenty-five minutes responding to emails.
After that I go up my first beat of the day, when I finish the beat my wife and daughter come downstairs to join me. My two oldest children are in school, so it’s a good deal. Then I send my beat after a few adjustments and I have an hour of family time. Throughout the day I spend a large part of the day marketing, promoting, advertising myself and my craft. Then I do about two back-to-back beats after the kids get out of school, then my wife goes to work and there I am with all my kids.
Now I know what you are thinking because my kids are still young and they want to use my house as a personal jungle gym. In fact, it’s great. I keep them busy with some activities and then I can do a couple more beats. The kids enjoy the process of creating beats anyway, so I’m fine. When it’s his bedtime, I have from 8:30 pm to 2:00 am I may have some artists I work with to record some album or mix tapes.
It’s a typical day for me because I used to work in a warehouse stacking chicken boxes on pallets, so I deserve to live off my heartbeat. It’s a good life to be able to have the time I need for family, work, vacations, etc. You can also get the same or even better lifestyle if you just stay focused and transform your life on a daily basis to higher heights. I mean you really have to work hard to want to do it, because the hardest job for the music producer game is getting your music production company off the ground. Once you improve the business aspect, your sales become smoother and it seems to be easier as a music producer. I hope you enjoyed a typical day as a music producer, more updates to come soon.
