Have you ever had writer’s block?

Here’s how to banish writer’s block for good.

We’ve all had it at one time or another. The good news is that I haven’t had it for a while and I don’t expect to ever have it again.

3 stages of writers block

Let’s take a look at the three stages of writer’s block and what to do about them.

Mild writers block

Mild writer’s block is when you just feel uncomfortable approaching the task of writing. You’re not in the flow and it’s not particularly easy.

To do – Write. And keep writing, because writing keeps you in the flow and prevents more writers from getting blocked.

Moderated Writers Block

You definitely feel out of the flow. You don’t seem to have any ideas. You start procrastinating on writing.

To do – Set yourself some short-term writing goals. Go back and rewrite something from the past, and jot down any ideas that come up as you rewrite that piece. Write a list of the top 5, 7, or 10 in your niche.

This is a good place to use some kind of article writing system.

severe writers block

As in the quote above, you think you can’t even spell the word “the”. You’re stuck and feel like you couldn’t write if your life depended on it. Absolutely no idea comes to mind. this is painful

To do – Get up and get away from him. Go do something completely different, especially something physical. You may want to take a look at what is going on in your emotional world and deal with it.

This sounds a little weird, but it works: when you write again, write over writer’s block.
