Advertising Marketing Blog: Opinions On Online Advertising vs Conventional Marketing

There is a constant clash between online and conventional advertising, which is more effective? Entrepreneurs are caught in the dilemma of which channel to use to advertise their product and how to get their message across to their consumers. Although the time-tested traditional marketing is still the choice of most, online marketing and advertising marketing blogs are gaining ground.

Many advertising marketing blogs would point out that the clear advantage of online advertising over conventional advertising is that it doesn’t take much time online to get information out to the public. Once you’ve created the material you want to advertise, you can publish it right away. When you place your ad on the Internet, there are no limits. As long as they have an internet connection, anyone around the world will be able to see what you have to say. In addition, it can be seen and heard at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The advent of interactive advertising and the use of advertising marketing blogs make it difficult for TV commercials that use interruption strategies to compete. Interruption strategies are limited to providing information to the customer with a series of commercials of 30 seconds or 1 minute and that’s it. This advertising method leaves no room for the public to interact or provide feedback. There is a communication gap that interactive online advertising does not have.

Overall, while online advertising has a distinct advantage in terms of time, geography, and interactivity, there’s no denying that conventional marketing is decently effective and still has a huge following. Therefore, it would not hurt for business owners to consider using both online and conventional marketing channels.
