Valentine’s Day Romantic Plan

Have you ever wanted to impress that special someone with a romantic and thoughtful day? Valentine’s Day is a great time to show someone how much you love them, but it doesn’t have to be the only day of the year that you express your romantic side. Here are some great ideas for getting romantic with your partner on Valentine’s Day or any other day:

  • Breakfast in bed – Get the champagne and orange juice, and a simple assortment of fruit and cakes on your tray, complete with a vase and rose. Nothing better than waking up to a romantic breakfast in bed!
  • Beach day – Load up a picnic basket with some delicious treats, chocolate covered strawberries, light snacks. Your imagination is the only limit here. Choose a spot on the beach that is less crowded and spread a blanket on the sand. Bring some small chairs if you have them. You can even bring some candles and wine.
  • drive in the field – There are so many picturesque places that you can make your destination. Take your partner for a romantic ride in your car. Pop in a homemade CD or load up your IPOD with some romantic songs to play while you drive. Check beforehand online if there is a restaurant on the way, stop for lunch. If things go well, you might even look for a bed and breakfast!
  • dinner and movie – This is a good resource for a romantic evening. Try to go to the movies first and then to dinner in a quiet and secluded place.
  • Treasure hunt – this requires a bit of forethought and planning, but it can be a lot of fun. Write down some clues and give your sweetie a map. Hide a few items around the house or in the backyard or in a special place like a local park.
  • coupon book – You can make this one by hand. Write some coupons for your sweetie that they can “trade” for a hug or a kiss or even some alone time with you.

To avoid disappointment, always make reservations if you plan to take your sweetie out for a special lunch or dinner. Most of the time the restaurants are not very crowded, but on special days of the year, like Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day, you will be lucky if you manage to get in the front door.
