The phenomenon of pizza around the world

First, there is a disagreement about the true origins of pizza. Many claim that the Greeks invented it because it was called Picea. Picea is used to describe the black stuff that was at the bottom of the dough after it was cooked. They were made by baking them in wood burning stoves and the bottoms were often burned black. Another version is that it is called piada because it was originally made from flat bread. No matter where it started, Italy is the birthplace of pizza. The Italian style of eating this pie is to make it personal size and with a very thin crust. They rolled it up to eat instead of slicing. On the streets, it was made in bite-sized portions that one could eat with one’s hands.

Moving across the country to the Netherlands, pizza is made in much the same way as it is in the United States. The only difference is that if you were to order a supreme pizza with everything, you would be surprised to see that each topping was divided and placed on top in its own section of the pie. This is so everyone can eat a slice and avoid eating a slice that had ingredients they didn’t like. In Japan, they tend to eat their Italian pastries with a lot of seafood. It is not uncommon to see an Italian pie that has shrimp, seaweed, and tuna. Another favorite is one with tomato, lettuce, and cheese toppings.

Here in the US the most requested toppings are meat toppings. These meats include Canadian bacon, sausage, hamburger, chicken, and bacon. Fruits like pineapple are even added. In fact, the Hawaiian style with pineapple and ham is a favorite. There’s a new way to eat your cake that’s quickly becoming a favorite. The calzone is a pizza made with flatbread instead of regular dough. It’s so popular that it has surpassed traditional hot dogs and hamburgers as America’s favorite food.

If you ever decide to travel to one of these countries, be sure to visit the pizzerias. Different cultures have different preferences for covering styles. As you can see, no two pizzerias are the same. You can taste the difference and compare your experiences to what you have in the United States. Once you’ve tried the many different types of Italian cake, you may never want another type of food again. No matter how you like to eat it, don’t be afraid to experiment with your choice of toppings. There are so many different foods out there that you may be surprised at what tasty combination you can come up with. Who knows, what you create may turn out to be the next best thing. It can become so popular that you can open your own pizzeria and conquer the world.
