Pros and cons
The best feature (apart from the amazing drinks taste due to the measuring lines) would be the ability to scrape ice cubes instead of crushing them. This really makes a big difference, and I think the shaved ice really helps contribute to the overall quality of the drinks. The biggest drawback would be the plastic gear. I could see this being a problem, but as long as the device is taken care of and the pitcher is firmly seated before starting, I think everything will work fine. I love my machine and the drinks it creates for me.
