Filipino Recipes – Kutsinta – Pinoy Food

Kutsinta is another favorite Pinoy snack. It is prepared with lye water that enhances its color. It is chewy and somewhat sticky, but you will surely love its unique flavor, especially if it is your first time trying this delicious treat. I love it with lots and lots of shredded coconut for the toppings. It is one of the foods that remind me of the good times I had in school. My best friend and I used to spend breaks on the soccer field with a paper plate full of kutsinta. We just go on and on about girly things without realizing that we have already consumed all the kutsinta in a very short time.

If you want to try Filipino delicacies, you should never miss the delicious kutsinta. You’re sure to order more once you take a bite of this delicious delicacy.
