How to Put Your DISH Network Remote Control in Limited Mode

Stephanie’s younger brother was playing in her room while she was at work. He played all of her music and played her TV along with the DISH Network remote. After a long day at work, Stephanie sat down that night to watch television. She pressed the channel up button on the remote to change the satellite channel. But the remote changed the TV and all she could see was snow and not the show she wanted to watch.

The remote was not in satellite mode, which made for a frustrating night after a long day at work. Turns out his brother hit every button on the satellite remote. The remote instantly became inoperable. Stephanie’s little brother last pressed the AUX Mode button on top of the remote. Now when he uses the remote, he thinks he is controlling a device that is programmed for AUX.
