Everything you need to know about OnePlus 5

The glimpses of the phone that we have received are impressive and OnePlus fans are waiting to get their hands on the next OnePlus device that will renew mobile computing.

This is everything you need to know about the OnePlus 5 launch, release date, specs, and features.

OnePlus seems to be retracing its steps with the launch of OnePlus 5. They will bring back the invitation system that they had put aside for the launch of OnePlus 3 and 3T.

The specs and features of the phone are designed to impress and the speculative features of this super phone are doing it. Its fast and high-speed processor, Android Nougat operating system, integrated fingerprint sensor with home button, extensive storage option, and large battery capacity give the phone what it needs to take on computers. and beat him at his own game.

Now let’s dive into its specs:

The OnePlus 5 will house a Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 Octa-core processor that will run at a frequency of 4×2.45 GHz Kryo and 4×1.9 GHz Kryo along with an Adreno 540 GPU for enhanced images in high graphic content. Android Nougat is the icing on the cake as it allows its users to seamlessly switch between apps and use the multi-tab option in the best way.

The phone will be presented in two variants. One of them would have 6GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and the last one would house an 8GB of RAM unit with 128GB of internal memory.

The presence of a reliable storage slot has yet to be confirmed, however there are strong reasons to believe that the OnePlus 5 will not feature expandable storage at least in this variant. After paying a high price for the phone, we are not sure how users would react to the same 64GB storage that was present since the beginning of Oneplus in India.

OnePlus will feature a dual rear camera and this seems to be one of the most powerful in the smartphone race so far. At the rear, it has a 20 + 16MP main camera with dual LED flash. Phase detection autofocus, 2x optical zoom, 1 / 2.8 “sensor size, 1.12 µm sensor size at 16MP and 1 / 2.8”, 1.0 µm at 20MP, geotagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama are some of the features that the camera boasts of.

The selfie camera in this one is a powerful 16MP camera with f / 2.0 aperture that has built-in Auto HDR, EIS (gyroscope) and effortlessly records 1080p videos.

The OnePlus 5’s battery is a 3300 mAh unit that is assisted by Dash Charge. The battery appears to be underpowered in terms of numbers, but the Nano processor used is designed to consume less power, thus offering longer battery life with smaller units.

This 5.5-inch phone will feature an Optic AMOLED display with a pixel density of 401 ppi. This superstructure is protected against external damage by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 unit.

The downsides to this phone so far are that it is not waterproof or dust resistant. The battery unit seems small and the memory seems inadequate. That being said, we would have to wait for the release and see how the hidden magic unfolds.
